Although I didn't know it until I was an adult, I descend from generations of gifted women. As my mother tells it, I first began hearing and seeing miraculous things before I could even walk. Honoring instructions given to her by her mother years ago, however, she kept silent about her family's connection to the Spirit World.It was not until I was in my early twenties and the voices and visions became so profound that I thought I was losing my mind did she divulge my heritage. Answering the call of a desperate daughter, she told me about her childhood in Italy and her family's mystical gifts. I didn't know until then that her mother and grandmother were revered mediums. Among the predictions my grandmother shared with my mother was to expect a prophetic child. She told my mother to simply watch for signs of this prophecy, but not reveal anything of it to the child. Her mother explained that if the child was authentic, all would be revealed in time.
As she talked, a whole new world opened up to me. Little by little, I began to understand I was not losing my mind, but gaining new gifts. I began to accept these miraculous beings and their voices not as aberrations, but as deliberate, loving presences in my life. I began to call them my "guidance counselors".
My choice to travel the path laid before me that night almost over decades ago didnšt happen immediately. Although my life would never be the same after the conversation with my mother, I continued to pursue a successful career in music related film production in Nashville. Still, the counselors stayed with me and the urgings became stronger. Wonderful things continued to happen. Finally, I left the music video production industry and closed down my own production company in 2003. I became a certified meditation and holistic living teacher and increased my intuitive healing abilities through certification with Life Alignment Technique. My weeks were suddently filled to overflowing with teaching meditation, leading retreats and helping clients in one-on-one consultations.
By opening myself to receive all the universe has to offer, I never cease to be amazed at how I have been led. Devi Essentials represents a new road on this journey. The inspiration to create these pure products came out of a silent meditation retreat. After the most intense, painful meditation I had ever experienced, a new voice came to me, one I had never heard out loud before among my "guidance counselors". Although her presence has been with me for what feels like liftimes, it was the first time I could recall hearing the voice of the Divine Mother deep within me so clearly and deliberately. She soothed my pain, and I found myself once again in a very balanced, blissful state. She asked me to sit so we could commune. She began telling me of the empowerment I had just experienced through the meditation. It was then I began to notice how clearly she was coming in. Mother Divine had always been in the background for me, somewhat muffled. I would always have to strain to clarify what she was saying. But now, it was as if she were sitting right in front of me. I felt tingles all over my body as I became aware of what this could mean: a clearer connection with the Divine. She continued by telling me a new group of guides would come to me from the highest order of heaven within the next couple of weeks. She said they would lift me higher and my work would change tremendously.
Devi Essentials represents part of that change. I am simply the medium, not the creator. Always, I ask Divine Mother's permission.
In my journey to seek wholeness and fulfillment of who I am authentically, I've learned that our true gifts and talents are a choice for each of us to accept and to bring into this world. "Many are asked, few choose." I am the first to say that, for me, the choice has not been easy. However, the blessings have been profound. Devi Essentials is further evidence of that. It is my hope these products will reach the souls that can benefit from their vibrational gifts and that they will be instrumental in helping with your life's journey.
